About these figures. 2022–2025 are counted from our FilmFreeway submission exports; 2026 figures are from the festival's own selection records.

Local means a Norfolk or Suffolk postcode (NR or IP); national means elsewhere in the UK; international means outside the UK. Durations run from up to 10:00, then 10:01–15:00 and so on.

Before 2026, filmmakers could leave genre blank or pick documentary or experimental instead, so some films are listed as "not specified". Hybrid means a film entered under more than one of animation, documentary and experimental.

F-Rating figures are the share of each year’s programme that was F-Rated. In 2022, 50 films were screened; the submission export recorded only the 25 competition nominees, so the 2022 selection breakdowns cover those 25 films.

Official selection vs programme screenings. Across the editions you will notice that our number of selected films differs from the number of films shown as screening in our programme brochures and film catalogues. The screening figure for each edition also includes films shown outside our selected in-competition films, such as curated feature films and, in some years, outdoor cinema screenings.
