Get ready for unforgettable summer evenings! The Sunrise Film Festival (SFF) is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of its popular Outdoor Cinema screenings, presented in partnership with the East Point Pavilion.
Film lovers and families are invited to join them on Saturdays throughout August for magical cinema experiences on Lowestoft’s glorious seafront.
These beloved Family Friendly Outdoor Cinemas, held in the East Point Pavilion Beer Garden, offer a unique ‘silent cinema’ experience, powered by individual headphones ensuring a personal and immersive viewing. Each evening is packed with entertainment for all ages.
“We are incredibly excited to bring our Outdoor Cinemas back to Lowestoft’s beautiful seafront this summer,” says organiser Joshua Freemantle.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy a diverse selection of films – from beloved family classics to exclusive festival shorts one last time that you won’t be able to watch anywhere else – and experience cinema in a truly special setting.”
Highlights of the Evening:
Pre-Movie Fun: Arrive early to catch an exclusive screening of family-friendly short films specially curated from this year’s Sunrise Film Festival – a unique chance to see them! Plus, get into the groove with an intimate silent disco before the main feature begins.
Drinks & Refreshments: The bar at the East Point Pavilion will be open, offering a wide range of soft and alcoholic beverages to complement your cinema experience.
