Why Worry

Why Worry

Runtime 7:13

Juddy Cowboy (30), problems with intermittent rage and pangs of worthlessness, loses a sum of money that weren’t his. Sat outside a Chinese Chippy his overbearing mother scolds him via a voicemail tinged with disappointment. She harks back to a time before, when his father was still here and how he might have dealt with the situation. She re-enforces the toxic fatherhood that’s marred Juddy’s life for too long. Juddy steps inside the Chinese and meets Ron Glib (65) the perpetual mirror image of who he may become if he’s to continue down this path of anger, blame and paternal disappointment. He also meets ‘Why Worry’, a mystical gypsy with a Plaster of Paris cat on her knee and a fortune cookie in her palm, she can see into Jud’s future, his past and his present but only he can choose which path to take.
