In the quiet coastal town of Eastbourne, Dave leads a solitary existence, his strained relationship with his son Max adding to his sense of isolation.

As Dave grapples with his own loneliness and struggles to connect with those around him, he leaves a mysterious voicemail to his estranged son that sets off a chain of events.

"The Tide Will Come" touches on mental health, grief, suicide and the complexities of father-son dynamics.
