St.Nowhere

St.Nowhere

Runtime 8:43

Connie, a food factory worker & newcomer, is turning her Mum’s wheelchair into a DIY memorial at their favourite spot on the marsh.
Bill, a local wild-fowler, demands Connie returns it to the hospital or he'll take it to the scrap man.
But Bill carries his own secret, his Grandad’s duck decoy, and hopes that today he’ll feel brave enough to decide what to do.
Shot on location in East Anglia & inspired by the real-life Fens hero Kenzie Thorpe, St.Nowhere is a short film about rural working class life exploring the interplay between nature, grief and legacy.
Do we remember our loved ones the way we think they should be remembered for their peace, or ours?
