She who visions

    Experimental, Germany, 5min

"She who visions“ (German: "Die Schauende") follows a young woman through her life in Berlin, where the rare phenomenon of summer snow - the cottonwood fluff- briefly blurs the line between city and nature. Her inner monologue, drawn from Rainer Maria Rilke’s „Der Schauende“, reflects her inescapable connection to the world around her. As the fluff falls and settles, it creates a dreamlike atmosphere, dissolving the boundaries between urban space and humanity. The film unfolds as a meditation on the human condition, revealing how we, like the fluff, are transient fragments of a vast interconnected whole.
